Reviews By Katy Allen from Boston, MA Posted Oct 7, 2014 The Massachusetts Promise Fellowship is hosting our annual Pass The Wagon fundraising event, and would love to feature Gadgets as one of our silent auction donors! The donation of a gift card or product of your choosing will go a long way towards helping us meet our fundraising goal. In acknowledgement of your generosity we will look forward to prominently listing your business name as a supporter in our program books and materials. The Massachusetts Promise Fellowship believes that all young people in the Commonwealth have a right to the resources they need to be successful in life, including a caring adult, a safe place, a healthy start, an effective education, and an opportunity to serve. We deliver these 5 promises by training emerging leaders who commit one year of service to provide these resources to youth throughout the Commonwealth. Just to give you a snapshot of the program, our most recent class of Fellow graduates (2013-2014) served in the following cities and towns: Cambridge, Brockton, Fall River, Greater Boston, Great Barrington, Lynn, Salem, Springfield, Stoughton, and Worcester. These 40 Fellows provided over 72,105 hours (valued at over $1.9 million) of service to the youth of the Commonwealth in which: -274 Mentor/mentee matches were made -574 Out-of-School time projects were developed for 1,865 young people -1,300 young people were supported and educated around college access and affordability initiatives -800 volunteers were recruited to enhance the capacity of 37 host-site organizations across the state For a sneak peek into the life of three of our Fellows and to see the work they do first hand, please feel welcome to watch our video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXhTzPIoCWQ Share Your Review Please note: all reviews are screened for spam and take 24-48 hours to be approved.
